  • New sewing projects

    So I have been insanely busy working two jobs and trying to keep up with housework and animals and all that jazz. I did however find some time this past week to try out my newly set up sewing room.  I decided to make some reusable coffee/tea cup sleeves.  They turned out lovely. So lovely in fact people keep asking if I will make them one and telling me I should sell them.  There is of course always room for improvement and I will keep experimenting but Jess was super happy with hers.  I will post some pictures when I get my camera fired up.   My next project I am preparing for is reusable sandwich wraps, cuz I'm sick of all the ziploc baggies and cleaning them so I am gonna try something new, I will still have to clean them but I am hoping that a nice flat cloth and a quick wipe will be nicer then scrubbing inside and out of the ziploc then hang drying... I'm gonna try making one tomorrow then Aaron can use it in his lunch.  Will keep all posted and hopefully have some pics tomorrow.

     

    On another note my laproscopy is coming up.  I know its just a day surgery but it still worries me a bit.  Have an appointment with the OBGYN on tuesday then will have bloodwork done in early february and surgery is scheduled for february 9th I believe, so hope it all goes well.

     

    Hopefully have photos tomorrow of the new projects.  Well I am off to bed have a great night all!
