  • Sneaking a Quickie

    Hey all,

    No not as perverse as it sounds! Just getting ready for work and thought I would try and squeeze in a quick post.  I have been a slacker with writing and sewing as of late. The weather is so nice its hard to sit inside!.  Yesterday I did some gardening planted the bleeding hearts, columbine and hostas my sis in law gave me and I hope they make it.. A friend of mine leant me a series to watch a week ago and I still haven't got to them but we had a great walk and are going to go again on Friday.  Dear hubby as always is working his buns off and we had a great weekend off, we worked on his trailer, managed to get mud Inside our truck and have dinner with my brother and family.  I also got my bday gift early! An e-reader, I already have read 2 books and will start a third today! Super convenient! Love that I can read in bed without a light lol.

    We recently made the decision to venture into the joys of parenthood and I really hope we won't have to wait too long!  I'm super stoked however terrified at the same time! I am sure we will be great parents but I am a worrier and as much as I want to enjoy it all I can't seem to let go of my worry. :(  I am kind of "nesting" so to speak already.  Cleaning,sorting and wanting to decorate and of course sew a million cute little things! However my little brother is being a pain in the rear, we recently aquired him and my dad as house guests.

     My dad is awesome and though we have little battles we never really have an issue.  However my brother, while working still hasn't grown up. He just wants to party all the time and the boy can't handle his booze.  I wake up most mornings to my kitchen being totalled and once over the weekend a toilet full of vomit! I know he knows I am not happy with him but he is avoiding me.  I just want to talk and lay down some better ground rules because DH and I work and it can't be an ongoing thing... Today the kitchen was terrible and I am in quite a bad mood because of it....things need to change and today he is talking to me or I will have to stop being nice about it.

     

    Bah time to get on the move I'll post some more later with any luck!

  • I am hardly ever outside, just when waiting for the transpo or when I have lunch in the park. There isn't anywhere to hang out near my apartment and the sun is usually going down within an hour or two of my getting home. I can't wait until you get preggers! I'm going to think up the most annoying nickname to give your tummy *L0L* Maybe you can consider your brother practice for when your own kid is a teenager? That's how old your bro seems to be acting! Hope you thwap some sense into him! SUMR
